Five, six or eight hours between flights? That’s enough time to leave the airport, see Budapest and still get back in time for your next flight.
Your luggage stays with me. You get Budapest.
MY FLIGHT IS LATER.
MUCH LATER.
You’ve landed in Budapest. Your next flight is five, six or maybe eight hours away. Technically you could stay at the airport.
You could find a chair, buy another coffee, check the departure board for the seventeenth time and watch several perfectly usable hours disappear.
Or you can leave the airport, see Budapest properly, and come back when you actually need to.
THAT’S WHAT A LONG LAYOVER IS FOR.
LAND. GET OUT OF THE AIRPORT.
I’ll pick you up directly from Budapest Airport and your luggage stays safely with me while we’re out.
That means no finding luggage storage, no dragging suitcases through the city, no trying to understand Budapest public transport while keeping one eye on the clock.
You get in the car, tell me how much time we have, and we use it.
AIRPORT → BUDAPEST → AIRPORT.
YOUR LUGGAGE STAYS WITH ME.
MORE THAN YOU THINK. WITHOUT TRYING TO SEE EVERYTHING.
A layover tour doesn’t need to become a frantic race through every Budapest attraction.
If it’s your first time here, we can build a compact private sightseeing route around the places that make the biggest impact in the time available.
That might mean a panoramic view over Budapest, the Castle District, Fisherman’s Bastion, Heroes’ Square, City Park, or simply a drive through the city with carefully chosen stops.
With more time, we can slow down. Have lunch. Stop for coffee. Visit somewhere you specifically wanted to see. Go to a local market. Buy something you forgot to buy on the rest of your trip.
THIS ISN’T ABOUT TICKING OFF BUDAPEST. IT’S ABOUT USING THE HOURS YOU ACTUALLY HAVE.
NO GROUP. NO FIXED ITINERARY.
There’s no bus to wait for, no group of thirty people, and no guide trying to keep everyone on the same programme.
If you want Budapest highlights, we do Budapest highlights.
If you’ve already been here before and don’t need to see Fisherman’s Bastion again, we do something completely different.
Maybe you want Hungarian food. Maybe you want a neighbourhood rather than a monument. Maybe there’s one very specific place you saw online and you have no idea whether it realistically fits into your layover.
Tell me. I’ll build the time around you.
YOUR LAYOVER DOESN’T NEED A STANDARD TOUR.
IT NEEDS A PLAN THAT FITS YOUR FLIGHT.
AND THEN I TAKE YOU STRAIGHT BACK.
The whole point is that you don’t have to spend the day worrying about how you’re going to get back to the airport afterwards.
Your next flight is part of the plan from the beginning. We know where we need to finish, and when it’s time to go, I take you directly back to Budapest Airport.
You came to Budapest anyway. You might as well actually see it.
TELL ME.
Send me your arrival time, next flight and how many hours you have in between.
I’ll tell you what realistically fits.
YOUR NEXT FLIGHT IS LATER.
YOU HAVE TIME NOW.
Tell me when you land, when your next flight leaves, how many hours you have and what you would like to do in Budapest.
I’LL TELL YOU WHAT REALISTICALLY FITS.
